So this month I am looking forward to attending the South West Disabled Fans Experience Forum on Thursday 19th October. It is being held at Yeovil Town FC and all clubs and their DSA’s in the South West are invited with many attending year after year.
Myself, Clive and Dave Parker (Bristol Rovers Safety Officer) are going to be there. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and I am sure we will find it to be a very worthwhile afternoon. I know we will learn a lot from our counterparts and officials from the different football clubs. Bristol Rovers FC and the BRFC DSA have agreed to host the meeting next year so I will be taking many notes I am sure!
As well as the home games we have in October, I am particularly looking forward to Nick Tanner’s book signing that is taking place ahead of our fixture against MK Dons on the 28th October. Many of Nick’s Rovers team mates are also coming along so bring your book if you already have a copy of From A Field to Anfield to get it signed. Or if you don’t have a copy you can buy one on the day. Check out Nick’s social media for all details – Nick’s Twitter Nick’s Facebook
As always I am in and around the Supporters bars on matchdays from around 1pm till just before 2pm. Then I am down in the South stand. Please feel free to come and say hi. I am more than happy to answer any questions or to help if you have a problem relating to access etc.
Kind Regards Zoe
Zoe Kirkby – BRFC DSA Secretary
